    volume of the box to be 500 cubic inches

    Find out the height of the boxes

    To proof =

    Formula

    box shape is in the rectangle form.

    volume of the rectangle = length× breadth× height

    now putting the values in the above equation

    we get

    500  = 8.5 × 11× height

    500 = 93.5 ×height

    \frac{500}{93.5} = height
